Jesus is Coming Back! Be Ready!

We’ve been hearing this call for over 2011 years now. Many have tried to predict the end of times. False prophets have come out trying to say the year of His return, but all have failed. Jesus said that only the Father knows the day. Not Even Jesus the Son knows.

Mark 13:32-33 King James Version (KJV)

32But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

33Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

Sadly, I’ve noticed lately that many Christians have succumb to the notion that this second coming is still far away, and it’s nothing to worry about? The Bible says this day is going to be a surprise, so be ready.

Matthew 24:42-44 King James Version (KJV)

42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Jesus does however let us know what signs to look out for. He predicted a series of events that must happen just before His return. He does so in one chapter. Matthew 24

Matthew 24:3-14 King James Version (KJV)

3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Wars, Rumors of war,
Plagues,
Famines,
Natural Disasters

Luke 21:25-28 King James Version (KJV)

 25And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

The world we live in is growing farther and farther away from God each day. It’s no coincidence that the worlds problems are also growing at an alarming rate. Just like the Boa Constrictor problem in the Florida Everglades, or the Snakehead invasion in US waterways. These might not be a concern to you, but in the background, while you may not notice, this world is dying.
So what is taking so long for the Second Coming? Is the rapture really going to happen? From my own Bible studies, I’ve come to learn that God is being very patient 2 Pet 3:9. Time is ticking and the Gospel is being preached in the entire world, in every country. God is trying to rescue every last soul. But there will come a time when few will answer the call. From what I can see in todays world, the godless are gaining ground, and Christianity is losing ground. Pretty soon it’s Christians who will be hiding in secret, afraid to come out and profess their faith. Those who have “Genuine Faith” will be a small number, Jesus explains.http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Peter+3:9&version=KJVshapeimage_8_link_0

Luke 18:7-8 King James Version (KJV)

7And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

8I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Revelation 22:12-17 King James Version (KJV)

12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 King James Version (KJV)

16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Be Ready for The Rapture!

Jesus didn’t come to condemn the world. The world is already condemned. He came to save us.

Revelation 3:19-21 King James Version (KJV)

19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Revelation 21:3-4 King James Version (KJV)

3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Heaven, Eternal Life

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 King James Version (KJV)

1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

8But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

11Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Philippians 3:20 (King James Version)

20For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Hebrews 9:28 King James Version (KJV)

28So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Luke 21:34-36 King James Version (KJV)

34And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

2010, the next major Biblical event to come is the Rapture of the Church, followed by or during the 7 years of the Great Tribulation. Jesus will come like a thief in the night and rescue the faithful elect, and remove the Holy Spirit from earth as well (2 Thess 2:6-7) saving us from the wrath of God (1 Thess 1:9-10). This will give way to the rise of the Anti-Christ who will at first reign as a world leader of peace. But towards the end he will reveal himself as God. This part of the story is complicated, spread out in several books, but the timeline below should show you where we are.http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Thess%202:6-7&version=NKJVhttp://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Thess%201:9-10&version=NKJVshapeimage_10_link_0shapeimage_10_link_1

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 King James Version (KJV)

1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

This will be a very busy time period. The Rapture of the Church is followed by the rise of the Anti-Christ. During this time in heaven will be the marriage of the Church to the Lamb. On earth will be the Great Tribulation. Those left on earth who repent will be killed, but saved (Rev 20:4). Those who follow the Anti-Christ will accept the Mark of the Beast, the 666 and be doomed (Rev 14:11). During the final 3 years of the Great Tribulation God will unleash His wrath on earth which include: The 7 Seals; The 7 Trumpets; The 7 Bowls of Judgement. After all this is the Second coming of the Lord Jesus on a white horse (Rev 19:11) with the Saints who will do battle against the armies of Satan. This is followed by 1000 years of peace with Jesus in charge with a rod of iron (Rev 19:15). Satan will be bound for those 1000 years, but will be released one more time for the final battle. Satan will be defeated and cast into the Lake of Fire forever and ever. Revelation 19:9 KJV

9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Matthew 25:31 KJV

31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Revelation 21:6-7 King James Version (KJV)

6And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Below: 2 Thessalonians 2:3 mentions the falling away of the church. This is happening already as some of todays top preachers are falling away from the faith, weakening the message of God, and giving heed to the world. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 is talking about the removal of the Holy Spirit, who impedes the rise of the anti-christ.

1 Timothy 4:1 King James Version (KJV)

 1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

John 12:45-48 King James Version (KJV)

45And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

46I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

47And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

48He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

1 Corinthians 2:9 King James Version (KJV)

9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
