Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

Need more Proof of Jesus’s Deity?Lets go back to the Old Testament Book of Isaiah. Did you know that this book contains 66 Chapters. The Same Number of Books in the Holy Bible is 66. Isaiah’s first 39 Chapters like the first 39 books of the Old Testament, talks about God’s Judgment on the immoral and Idolatrous men. Judgment must come because God cannot allow Blatant sin to go unpunished forever. But the final 27 chapters, like the 27 books of the New Testament declare a message of hope. The Messiah is coming as a Savior, and a sovereign to bear a cross and to wear a crown. Remember Isaiah wrote down this book 700BC. Jesus came and fulfilled to the “T” every prophecy within.
The Apostle John starts off his book with an eloquent and poetic way of telling us who Jesus is. Jesus is God.
Believe it or not Jesus is still here with us on earth in a tangible way. It’s His Book. The Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is the Oldest and most widely sold book on Earth. How so? How has this ancient manuscript lasted through so many centuries? Why is it still so relevant to modern day situations? Why can’t non believers get rid of it? The answer is simple. It’s the True Word of God and God promised us he will preserve His words forever Psalm 12:6-7. That is the reason for its power and longevity. God wrote it through different people in different eras. It’s actually a library of 66 Books. 39 in the Old and 27 in the New Testament. Even though it was written by different people every book is consistent to the Person of God.http://av1611.com/kjbp/kjv-bible-text/Ps-12.html?vhl=6-7shapeimage_5_link_0
Lets examine this Biblical Time Line Below. I wanted to point out a Verse from Isaiah. 700 years BC the Prophet Isaiah declared the Prophecy of the Messiah to the Jews.

Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)

5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

His Stripes.

Ezekiel 34:11-12 King James Version (KJV)

11For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

12As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

John 10:26-28 King James Version (KJV)

26But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

John 1:14 King James Version (KJV)

14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 1:10-13 King James Version (KJV)

10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Jesus was rejected by His own, and was tossed out from the Synagogue when He read from the Prophet Isaiah. He Said “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

Luke 4:16-21 King James Version (KJV)

16And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

17And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

20And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Matthew 1:21 King James Version (KJV)

21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Exodus 12:5-7 King James Version (KJV)

5Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

6And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

7And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

Exodus 12:29-30 King James Version (KJV)

29And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

30And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

It is the Blood that Christ Shed on the Cross that cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Col 1:14, Rev 1:5, Rev 7:14. Just like the Blood of The Lamb that Saved the Jews during Passover. More symbolic still, they had to eat the sacrificial lamb. Luke 4:28-30 King James Version (KJV)

28And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

Need more proof? There’s a Reason why God specifically instructed the Jews to brush Lambs Blood on the door during the Passover. All those who didn’t have the Lambs Blood brushed on the door would lose their first born as per Pharaoh.
Our Lord and Savior was betrayed by one of His disciples, which He already new before hand. He gave Himself up when they came for Him. He was rushed into a court in the middle of the night. Envied and hated by the chief priests, they accused Him of Blasphemy. They spat on His face, and slapped Him. Handed over to Pontius Pilate who found nothing wrong in Jesus. Pilot left it up to the people to decide between Barabbas (a criminal) and Jesus. The chief priests urged the crowd to pick Barabbas. He was then whipped and tortured. Lastly, put on a cross to die an excruciatingly painful death...

Matthew 27:15-26 King James Version (KJV)

15Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.

16And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.

17Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?

18For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.

19When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

20But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

21The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.

22Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

23And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

24When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

25Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

26Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

Jesus being lowered from the cross.
A very sad moment for all of His followers.
Those who knew Him, and believed in Him.
Jesus was buried in a tomb with a huge rock at the entrance, along with posted Roman Guards to keep watch for any thieves.

Matthew 27:62-66 King James Version (KJV)

62Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,

63Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.

64Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

65Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.

66So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

And so it happened just as He said. On the Third day Jesus rose from the Grave.

Matthew 28:1-8 King James Version (KJV)

1In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

2And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

3His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

4And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

7And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

8And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene first, and He tells her to tell the others, but they did not believe. Then He appeared to two more disciples, and He tells them to tell the others but the others did not believe either. Then He appeared and stood in front eleven of the disciples except Thomas. The disciples went and told Thomas about it but Thomas did not believe, wanting to see proof of Jesus’s hands. 8 days later Jesus Shows up through locked doors and showed Thomas His wounds. He had Thomas reach in and touch His pierced hands and side.

John 20:30-31 King James Version (KJV)

30And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Luke 24:44-49 King James Version (KJV)

44And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

45Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

46And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

47And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48And ye are witnesses of these things.

49And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Luke 24:50-53 King James Version (KJV)

50And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

51And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

52And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

53And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

The Gospel

John 3:16 King James Version (KJV)

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Mark 16:14-18 King James Version (KJV)

14Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

 17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Romans 10:8-10 King James Version (KJV)

 8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

The Prophet Ezekiel also writes that “God Himself will search for His Sheep”.

Isaiah 53:3-4 King James Version

3He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

18Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,

19And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

1 Peter 2:22-24 King James Version

22Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

23Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

24Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

1 John 5:20 King James Version (KJV)

2 John 1:7 King James Version (KJV)

7For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

36For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
