Proverbs 10:12 (King James)

12Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

Love, Love, Love.

God is Love.

God Loves us.

Love God 1st.

Love one another.

Love the brethren.

Love your wife.

Love your neighbor.

Love your enemies.

Matthew 5:44 King James Version (KJV)

 44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Luke 6:35-36 King James Version (KJV)

35But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

36Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

John 13:34 King James Version (KJV)

34A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

John 14:15 King James Version (KJV)

15If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 15:13-14 King James Version (KJV)

13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

14Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Romans 5:8 King James Version (KJV)

8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God is Love.

But He also hates sin/wickedness.

1 John 4:7-9 King James Version (KJV)

7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Just to recap. God is Love. God loved us by sending His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross, that if we repent and believe in Him we may have eternal life. Therefor we need to Love God first in our lives. God made us and everything we love about life, all the praise and glory needs to go to Him. Although it may be hard to love if not merited, we need to try and love. We do not have to like everyone, but always treat the person or situation with unfeigned love. Husbands love your wives. Wife, if you love your husband show him some respect. Love your co-workers, classmates, and people we bump into on the street. Love the poor. We also need to love our enemies. Probably the hardest thing to do is to love someone who has hurt us. But we need to trust God on this, and forgive all offenses made against us. Love is powerful. Conquer any, and all forms of evil with God, through love, in truth. Lastly, do not love the world and its lusts, affairs and false beliefs. Abhor all forms of evil Rom 12:9, 1 Thess 5:22.http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans+12:9&version=KJVhttp://av1611.com/kjbp/kjv-bible-text/1Th-5.html?vhl=22shapeimage_4_link_0shapeimage_4_link_1

Love your enemies. Forgive all offenses.

Unmerited love.

The Best way to show God you love Him is to obey His commandments

Luke 17:3 King James Version (KJV)

3Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

Matthew 18:21-22 King James Version (KJV)

21Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Ever been charged money for love? Ever have someone deny you love? Ever feel like not loving, or love only if you feel like it? Well believe it or not Jesus Christ commands us to love. The hardest thing to do is to love, especially when not merited. Love is verb. Love is free, also called charity. A gift often unmerited.

God Loves us. He bought us at a price. Our debt paid in full.

Forgive 70 x 7

God loves you and He is willing and ready to forgive you. Repent and ask for forgiveness, and He is faithful to forgive us no matter how bad we’ve been. Forgive others. We live in a world where offenses are regular. Be willing to forgive others if they offend or hurt you, no matter how serious the offense. Don’t hang on to anger or resentment. bitterness will only serve to destroy you, if not by bitterness then later by the Judgment of God. If you asked God to forgive you, then be willing to forgive others. Lastly, forgive yourself. We often make mistakes. Sometime we dwell on them way too long. We have trouble forgiving ourselves for the past. If you have already confessed your sin to God, and have repented from it, then it’s forgiven. Let go of the past. Don’t be afraid to try again. If your dealing with heavy guilt, and you’re repented read Psalm 51.http://av1611.com/kjbp/kjv-bible-text/Ps-51.htmlshapeimage_7_link_0

Romans 8:35-39 King James Version (KJV)

35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 13:8-10 King James Version (KJV)

8Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

9For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

10Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Husbands, love your wives.

Ephesians 5:23-25 King James Version (KJV)

23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

 25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Colossians 3:18-20 King James Version (KJV)

18Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

19Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

20Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

Mark 11:25-26 King James Version (KJV)

25And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Psalm 103:11-13 King James Version (KJV)

11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

Romans 12:19-21 King James Version (KJV)

19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

God is Love

Ephesians 5:33 King James Version (KJV)

33Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Do not love the World.

1 John 2:15-17 (King James Version)

15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

James 4:4 (King James Version)

4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

We are to be loving yet not love the world. This one’s tricky, but the world we live in isn’t ours yet. We are just passing through Heb 11:13, 1 Pet 2:11-12. Jesus has chosen us out of the world John 15:19. The world is blind to God, and it’s mentality and systems are opposite to God 1 Cor 2:14. Although we must be loving to everyone, don’t give in to the crowd by following the world with its lures, lusts or erroneous beliefs 2 Pet 1:4.http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews%2011:13&version=KJVhttp://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Peter%202:11-12&version=KJVhttp://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+15:19&version=KJVhttp://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Corinthians+2:14&version=KJVhttp://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Pet%201:4&version=KJVshapeimage_10_link_0shapeimage_10_link_1shapeimage_10_link_2shapeimage_10_link_3shapeimage_10_link_4
Adultery in this case isn’t so much the sexual immorality, but spiritual adultery. We can have friendships, but when those friendships start to influence our commitment to God or compromise our commitment to God then we need to say “no thanks”. .Do not compromise the truth with something false. Do not partake in sinful behavior with the world. The world mentality, religions, and philosophies do not go with God.

1 John 4:12 King James Version

12No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

1 John 4:16 King James Version

16And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

1 John 4:19-20 King James Version (KJV)

19We love him, because he first loved us.

20If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

1 Peter 4:8 King James Version (KJV)

8And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Psalm 45:6-7 King James Version

6Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

7Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Psalm 5:5 KJV

5The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Psalm 11:5 KJV

5The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Isaiah 1:14 KJV

14Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

Hebrews 1:8-9 King James Version

8But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

9Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Love the brethren

John 13:35 KJV

35By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

1 Peter 1:22 KJV

22Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

1 John 3:14 KJV

14We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Proverbs 21:13 KJV

15Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

2 Timothy 2:3-4 King James Version (KJV)

3Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

4No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Galatians 5:5-6 King James Version (KJV)

5For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

6For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Psalm 7:10-11 King James Version (KJV)

10My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.

11God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

15So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

Psalm 18:1-3 King James Version (KJV)

1I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.

2The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

3I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Psalm 18:20-21 King James Version (KJV)

20The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

21For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

Love is the Greatest Gift

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (King James)

1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:13 (King James)

13And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (King James)

4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

 5Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

 6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

2 John 1:9-11 King James Version (KJV)

9Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
